Hi Everyone,

Jan here. I'm really looking forward to spending time with you in a few weeks at my IFC masterclass "The numbers that matter - measuring your direct marketing success.

I'm working hard to make sure that the session is practical and entertaining. I'm a fundraiser not a statistician. So there will be numbers, but I'll be focussing on sharing the metrics and analysis views that I've found most useful over the past 10 years in helping me build strong fundraising programmes.

My top priority is to give you space and inspiration to see how you can begin to look at measuring your direct marketing effort and investment from a total donor perspective.

I'll post more information on the session and what you can expect over the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, I'd like to hear from you - why did you choose this masterclass and what are you looking to be able to take back to your work as a result?

See you soon.

Jan

  1. Hi Jan,

Let me be the first. Looking forward to come to the IFC again. I've been attending couple of years now and I've always come back at the office with new insights or refreshed old ideas... And that's what I'm looking for in your masterclass as well. In my current work I see a lot of different fundraising programs and it would be helpful to see other people monitoring and measuring skills...

Since 5 months I've been working with Greenpeace International as International Fundraising Manager. This means I support and advice ten European Greenpeace offices in their fundraising strategies and programs. My direct contacts are the Fundraising Directors of the different offices. I used to be Head of Fundraising with MSF Holland, so it's interesting to have a different role now as a sort of internal consultant.

    See you soon!
