Expectations

I am interested in learning about KPI's for the web. I also do a lot of comparison for offices in different countires and would like a decision making matrix.

I am from World Vision and work on the Global Marketing Team.

Hello

Hi Everyone

Hope you are well and looking forward to the IFC. My name is Sarah and I am the Acquisition Manager at Save the Children UK. We have a busy programme, working across 10 media channels to acquire new donors and working closely with the Retention team to maximise value.

What I am looking for from this masterclass is a thorough debate about the merits of different measures/ KPIs. I am regularly challenged by directors on the health of our programme and obviously have a range of figures on which to draw, from the Cost per Acquisition to Year 1 ROI to volume of active donors and of course net income overall. Each one says something singular about our programme but what I am looking to understand is how I can put them together to tell a more coherent story and to ensure we are referring to the right numbers for the right situation e.g. for a nascent programme vs. a longer-term view.

Not long now...

Hi Everyone,

Thanks Rainier and Amanda for getting in touch via this blog and letting me know what you're looking for from the session. It's very helpful as it means I can make sure I'm delivering what you need.

Everyone else, drop me a line and let me know who you are and why you've chosen this masterclass. It would be great to hear from you over the next week.

By the way, I should warn you that there will be a small piece of homework I'll be setting you on the Tuesday night. Nothing too scary. Shouldn't take long, but it will give us all a chance to learn from your experience - which is what these sessions are all about. Sharing our experience and ideas. So plan to be doing a bit of group work over dinner or drinks for an hour or so on Tuesday evening!

See you soon.

Hi Everyone,

Jan here. I'm really looking forward to spending time with you in a few weeks at my IFC masterclass "The numbers that matter - measuring your direct marketing success.

I'm working hard to make sure that the session is practical and entertaining. I'm a fundraiser not a statistician. So there will be numbers, but I'll be focussing on sharing the metrics and analysis views that I've found most useful over the past 10 years in helping me build strong fundraising programmes.

My top priority is to give you space and inspiration to see how you can begin to look at measuring your direct marketing effort and investment from a total donor perspective.

I'll post more information on the session and what you can expect over the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, I'd like to hear from you - why did you choose this masterclass and what are you looking to be able to take back to your work as a result?

See you soon.

Jan
